VETERANS’ SERVICE RECOGNITION BOOK – VOLUME 19 / 49 THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND COMMAND FALL, Sheldon Elmer PEACETIME Sheldon was born on March 26, 1954, in Moncton, New Brunswick, the son of Elmer and Frances Fall in Crapaud, PEI. He served in Canada as a combat engineer member of 25 Fd Squadron, 8 Field Engineer Regiment at CFB Edmonton and CFB Detachment Wainwright. He worked as the RSO in Wainwright and the design officer at CFB Edmonton with the CE Section. He won the Hertzberg trophy for the regiment for a non-equipment bridge over the Yukon River in Whitehorse during RV 84. FALL, John WWII John was born on March 6, 1920, in Crapaud, PEI, the son of Clark and Eva Fall. He served in World War II in Canada, Italy and Northwest Europe with the Cape Breton Highlanders as a truck driver. Private Fall passed away in 2003 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. FALL, Gordon Frederick PEACETIME Gordon was born in London, Ontario in 1958. He enlisted in the reserves in 1974 with the 721 Communications Regiment and served during peacetime. Gordon is employed by Curran & Briggs and is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Borden-Carleton Branch 10.
