He joined up with his brother-in-law Earle Stewart in the entrance way of Trinity United Church as volunteers. He was a member of 3 Division 22nd Field Ambulance and served in England, France, Belgium, and Holland. He married Barbara, a war bride from England who immigrated to Canada after the war. Lloyd passed away in October 1986, at the age of 70. GALLANT, Tilman Joseph WWII Tilman was born in Bloomfield District, son of Mosie and Lauretta (Martin) Gallant. He enlisted in the Army on September 11, 1944 and was discharged on August 2, 1946. He served as a Private in the #6 Depot in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. GALLANT, Thomas John WWII Thomas was born in Bloomfield District, son of John C. and Julia Gallant. He enlisted in the Army and was killed in action on July 8, 1944. He served as a Corporal in the North Nova Scotia Highlanders in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.
