He enlisted in the Army and trained at Beach Grove, PEI and in Camp Borden, Ontario. He landed in France and drove trucks with 86th Brigade Co. Before his discharge in January 1946, he helped rebuild schools and hospitals in Holland. He arrived home in February 1946 and began his life as a farmer and family man. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Borden-Carlton Branch 10 for over forty years. Donald passed away in 2007. DALZELL, Robert G. WWII Robert was born in New Annan, PEI in 1919. He served with the PEI Highlanders, enlisting in 1939 and being discharged in 1945. He served in Canada, Newfoundland, England, France and Holland. Robert passed away in 1989. CURRIE, Hector WWI Hector was born in 1896. He served with the Canadian Army 8th Battery from 1916 to 1919 as Bombardier. He served in Canada, England and France. Hector passed away in 1990.
