VETERANS’ SERVICE RECOGNITION BOOK – VOLUME 21 / 29 THE LEGION IN THE COMMUNITY 1st Vice President of the Royal Canadian Legion, Provincial Command Comrade David Doucette presenting Kalei Ross, a grade 8 student at Kensington Intermediate High School, with 1st place in Black and White Poster Remembrance Day contest for PEI and 3rd place in the National Youth Remembrance contest. Kalei's artwork will be displayed at Canada's Parliament Building in Ottawa for the two week Remembrance period in November, as a unique tribute to the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP. Kalei's artwork displayed remarkable talent and visual storytelling that captured the meaning of Remembrance. Comrade David Doucette, 1st Vice President PEI Command is presenting a 70-year long service award to Comrade John Nicholson of Kensington Legion Branch #9, for his continual service to the Legion and community.
