Somerset Elementary School in Kinkora student 8 year old Alyssa Recio, daughter of Rhialyn and Teodorico Recio, was the third place National Winner in the Primary Black and White Poster Contest. She was presented with her certificate by two members of the Borden-Carleton Legion, Comrade Pieter Valkenburg, Public Relations Officer, and Comrade Mario Henry, Sgt At Arms, at a school assembly in which her mother Rhialyn Recio and grandmother Eden Contreras were present.
