He enlisted in the Army on September 16, 1916 and was killed in action on April 27, 1918. He served as a Corporal and Sergeant in the Canadian Garrison Artillery, 98th, 2nd, and 6th Canadian Siege Battalions. DOUGLAS, J. Hamilton WWII Hamilton was born in 1915 in Head of Hillsboro, PEI. He served in the Canadian Army from 1940 to 1943 and transferred to tank Regiment in 1943 until the end of the war. He was a brother to William Faulkner Douglas. DOUCETTE, Melvin J. WWII Melvin was born in 1925 in Ebbsfleet, PEI. Melvin was killed in action in Normandy, France.
