THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND COMMAND PETERS, Pius WWII Pius was born in the Bloomfield District, son of Pierre Augustine “Gus” and Josephine Rufine (Peters) Peters. He enlisted in the Army on May 15, 1941 and was discharged on March 22, 1946. He served as a Trooper in the # 6 District Depot in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. PETERS, Joseph Aubin “Joe” WWII Joseph “Joe” was born in the Bloomfield District, son of Leon and Josephine (Peters) Peters. He enlisted on May 8, 1943 and was discharged on April 8, 1946. He enlisted again on May 25, 1951 and was discharged on July 13, 1974. He served as a Warrant Officer in the Regular Forces in Canada and England. PETERS, John “Robert” WWII John “Robert” was born in the Bloomfield District, son of Leon and Josephine (Peters) Peters. He enlisted in the Army on September 2, 1941 and was discharged on September 9, 1961. He served as a Gunner/Lance Corporal in the Canadian Army Provost Corps in Canada and Overseas.
