Covid-19 Post Circuit Breaker Measures - Todays update Dec. 17 - 2020

Comrades,

Today Doctor Morrison has released new post circuit breaker measures.  I have tried to incorporate them here in this email for your reference.

1. Through the holiday season, beginning Friday, 18 December 2020 at 8 am, the following temporary post circuit breaker measures are in place; these measures are expected to be in place until January 11th, 2021:

2All businesses, services and organizations, as well as organizers of organized gatherings, are required to have measures in place to mitigate transmission of COVID-19 and to develop and follow an operational plan detailing those measures.

3. Organized gathering limit of 50 for activities including, bingo halls,  a second multiple of 50 is permitted with a prior approval of the operational plan

4. Organized recreation and team sports may resume following the gathering limits, with enhanced attention to records for contact tracing following organized gathering limits; no tournaments

5. In-person consumption of food and beverage at food premises and licensed facilities with an 11 pm closing time; maximum table size of ten

  • People should be seated at all times, except for going to washrooms and entering/exiting
  • Limit of 50 people with a second group of 50 permitted with a prior approval of the operational plan

6.  Non-medical masks are required for indoor public spaces.  

7  VLT's:  will be open starting tomorrow Dec. 18th
