Minister of veterans affairs commendation nomination

Minister of veterans affairs commendation nomination submission deadline: Jan. 31, 2020

Every year, the minister of veterans affairs commendation is presented to individuals who provide outstanding volunteer service to veterans, their communities and their country. The commendation recognizes a wide range of work contributing to the care and well-being of veterans or to the remembrance of their sacrifices and achievements. It is the highest honour the minister of veterans affairs can bestow.

Do you know someone who is deserving of such recognition? Any individual who has made significant, sustained and unpaid contributions is eligible to be nominated. This award is given to individuals from all walks of life: from veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, to business owners, volunteers, researchers and those who do so much to make life better for our veterans.

The deadline to submit a nomination is Jan. 31, 2020.
