PEI Branch Closures January 2022



Once again we are faced with closing our Branches for a period of two weeks until we receive an update on January 31st from CPHO.

With the latest restrictions released today by Dr. Morrison, it will be necessary for us to close all operations at each branch starting at midnight tonight.


A short summary of the restrictions that affect our branches are:

Organized gatherings are not permitted.

-In-room dining and services at eating establishments or licensed premises will be closed. Take out, drive-thru and home delivery are permitted.


The PEI Government and Federal governments are offering some assistance as follows:

"Islanders are reminded that supports are available for those impacted by COVID-19.  The Prince Edward Island Emergency Payment for WorkersEmergency Income Relief for Self-Employed, and the COVID-19 Special Leave Fund programs are now accepting applications.  Islanders may also be eligible for programs through the Government of Canada such as the Canada Worker Lockdown Benefit(link is external), the Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit(link is external) or the Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit(link is external)"
