Branch Wage and Rent Subsidies

Comrades,

 
As a non-profit business that has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, your branch may be eligible for one or more subsidies to cover part of your wage and rent expenses.

However, these subsidies may be soon come to an end.  In the meantime, you may still apply for them retroactively, but there are end dates to make these applications.

Both programs have been reduced in percentages granted.   For example, CEWS and CERS periods 20 and 21, (March 13 to May 7th, 2022), the rates will be reduced from 75% to 37.5% this includes HHBRP (Hardest Hit Business Recovery Program and THRP Tourism and Hospitality Program).

If you haven't applied already it is advisable that due to the complexity of the applications you use an accountant to complete the applications for the Wage and Rent subsidies.
