Passing of Comrade Theresa Gallant

We are truly saddened by the passing of our Vice President and Sports Chairperson and a long-time Legion member and of Provincial Command, Comrade Theresa Gallant, on Sunday, June 4th.

Our hearts and prayers are with Paul and all his family at this difficult time.

For those who would like to attend, there will be a legion service at 10:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am at the Evangeline Funeral Home on Friday, June 9th . 

There is no wake.  Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Egmont Bay Cemetery Fund.

Please lower Candian flags to half-mast out of respect for Comrade Theresa until after her service.

The Canadian Flag should be flown at half-mast on the following occasions at Legion establishments:

Within a province/territory on the death of the Lieutenant-Governor, the Premier, a Cabinet Minister, the Provincial President, a Past Provincial President, or a Provincial Officer and on other occasions as specifically directed by Provincial Command including days declared as days of Provincial/Territorial mourning;
